    • Rivals is the best Need for Speed game this gen. Its arcade, fun and gives you a great sense of high speed racing. Its main complaint is its online only. So you may need PS+?? And eventually, it wont exist when the servers go offline. (I really wished theyd put in an offline mode because the game is great and I'd hate to see it disappear)
      Agree that Rivals is a great game and absolutely worth $5!

      Although it's technically online all the time and you will see people in your world, you can effectively ignore them and go about your business.

    • AC Odyssey vs Witcher 3?
      Both Origins and Odyssey borrow heavily from TW3 in terms of providing context and motivation to complete quests. I enjoyed both and they somewhat scratch the same itch but just don't expect the writing to be anywhere near the same quality as TW3 which is still in its own league in that regard.

      Wait, I thought “Need for Speed” is the online one, Rivals works offline.

      Looks like recently released and already down from $79.99.

      I've waited years to play Arkham Knight and somehow managed to avoid any spoilers.
      I say go for it! I loved Arkham Knight. It's a lot of fun and feels great Plus you get the first two, "remastered" or whatever, and can play through those at your leisure.

      If it helps, I'm considering buying this combo, even though I already have all three on my Xbox One. Although this probably says more about my spending habits than about the quality of the games, lol

      Need for Speed got some lame story line. Sorry, I hate lame story lines.

    • How does PlayStation Now work? Do I have to buy games or do I get a library with the membership? Wouldn't mind buying a few games I missed this gen if I can play them with PS Now.
      PS Now is kind of it's own separate thing where you get a library of games you can stream or play locally depending on the hardware. You used to be able to buy games separately but now it is just a Netflix style subscription service. You don't need to buy any games, and your own games will not work with it (ie. streaming).

      Is assassin creed Odyssey worth it at this price point or should i wait for a bigger discount? Got a huge backlog so not rushed. What u guys think of the ultimate edition?

      AC Odyssey Standard 19.99 vs Ultimate 37.49.
      I haven't played any of the DLCs, but Odyssey is a pretty massive game by itself (like 60 hours easily just doing all the main quests). And they've since added a ton of free stuff to it on top of that. I was pretty burned out on it by the end, but I also played all of AC: Origins several months prior to that, so take that as you will.

      But yeah, for $20 it's a very solid game.

      Overcooked is great. Borderlands if you like shooters. If you liked the diablo rpg stuff, I've heard good things about divinity original sin coop.

      It's pretty fun and very similar to one. Some of the earlier levels are certainly easier, but it has its difficult moments. Core gameplay is mostly the same, except they added in throwing items which can be useful (or an annoyingly necessary gimmick depending on the level). If you like one, you'll probably like two.

      yep you can get/play these games without a psn membership. Just be aware some games are limited to online only or super short campaigns (ie. Star wars battlefront ii only has a 5 or 6 hour campaign and is mainly designed for online play requiring a subscription)

      edit: standard version of assassins creed odyssey is a good deal too at 19.99, the game is rated the best so far in the series, got like 93% and if you're like me, you don't need to play the previous ones to enjoy this one.
      Awesome series and a steal at this price. Talking of the Zombie Army Trilogy that is.

      Definitely holding out on purchasing anything though just in case we get a miracle 20% off code.
      I notice it's cheaper to get regular Lego DC SV and add Season pass to make it 29 bucks. Also wondering Lego Worlds is worth it or could it go cheaper. Of course shall wait till xmas to see if a 20% code could be a thing.

    • LEGO Marvel Collection is finally on sale holy crap. Dunno why that game is $79.99 digital it's only been $49.99 physical since it was released.

      I already own LEGO Marvel Super Heroes but it's legitimately cheaper for me to buy the Collection at $23.99 (and get all DLC for all 3 games to boot) than it is for me to buy just the Deluxe Editions of LEGO Marvel's Avengers and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 lol.
