    • Just a bit off-topic, but I remember a lot of people were disappointed by the absence of the fingerprint sensor, especially for mobile banking. A couple of days ago I noticed that BMO introduced in the mobile app the possibility to sign in with the face ID with pixel 4. If all the developers move in this direction so quickly, I believe the missing fingerprint scanner won't be such a big deal....

      Edit: received today. Apparently some issue on CP's website, didn't update until actual delivery.

      I quickly checked on Amazon and it looks like there are a few wireless chargers but they seem to require the use of the Google power supply that comes with the P4 otherwise it will only charge at 5W. Is that correct?
      You should check which input the charging pad (in terms of volt and ampere) needs in order to deliver up to 10w with the EPP standard. Some charging pads come with their own wall charger, while others need to be coupled with proper ones. Since I'd like a dual pad, I was keeping an eye on these two:

      Not on any plan right now, that's why this plan from Koodo makes perfect sense for my specific scenario. When you factor in the Amazon prime membership, the actual cost of the phone becomes $640. That's an insanely good price.

I was looking for a flat charging pad and I'm considering anker or mophie ones, as well as Xiaomi 20w pad.     • I just grabbed a nest thermostat 3rd gen for $160 all in from lowes($249) listed price. I was unable to get the $75 enbridge rebate as It does not apply to me. So I convinced them to PM a Amazon deal I found ($202.11) beat it, and i still got the 25% off Ontario rebate.

      Still a good deal as we never get supplier rebates in my area.

      While ordering the date was same for me but within an hour it changed to 17-18 Dec and the girl at online chat said the date 17-18 Dec is correct.

And they are unlocked, so this is a better deal than Google's discount of $250 on the 4XL ($879 cost vs. $720 from Koodo) and the discount of $150 on the 3aXL ($500 from Google vs. $360 from Koodo)

    • Yes, forgot to mention that important deal - these are on a 2 year plan. Its a win-win situation as far as I'm concerned. They are rated to have the best customer service in Canada and great coverage. I'm not planning on cancelling the 2 year contract, makes no sense to do that.
      Rather buy an unlocked phone and bring my own device to public mobile.

So I chatted with Google today and they said my credit card company put a hold on it for some reason. Nobody informed me. Called the credit card company and they said they released it an hour ago.       My buddy, who's not an RFDer, bought like 6 Google Nest Hub Maxes at $299 each to be the big christmas present to various members of his extended family. They just arrived and are just sitting there unopened - well within their return period. I imagine he's got $50x6 he can get back, evei if he's forced to return/reorder.

      I got the 3a in purple and now all the XLs are sold out and the only one in stock is the 3a black one. I find it a bit odd that a company that size would ever have anything out of stock... unless they're about to stop selling it altogether.

      Fair enough. But im with fizz. They provide me with roll over data as well as $25 bonus to anyone i refer to. Not only do they get 25 i also get 25. Plus i only pay $29 s month for 4gb of data and unlimited talk and text. Paying for this 3a going to pay for itself may man

      If you're a Koodo customer, sure. If you're looking to cancel after getting the phone and pay the tab, that no longer works with Koodo like it used to and you will have to pay the phone credit as well.
