But good for paying the price difference for 3D, AVX, VIP, etc. We rarely watch regular admitted movies now so getting a gift card with bonuses is pretty good deal and will get used for sure, even with CineClub membership.
too bad they weren't in time for Dune, could go a couple times more to see it at imax, lol... only place to catch it on imax in montreal now is at guzzo
probably worth pointing out: you can use the free pass at the imax, but probably only if the imax isn't fully booked for the showing, and probably also only if it doesn't say "No passes," which basically everything in imax has been saying lately.

That's their strategy though: make all the money on the special features and upsells. I doubt we'll ever see much in the way of free options for anything else.

Maybe it's the theatres I go to but I don't usually have any problem finding regular admission showings to see. Would definitely be nice to have it apply to premium tickets though.
I'll pick up one or two of these now that I'm actually going to see movies again.

I also have a pug, and I'm also up well on cgx after holding through some of those swings.
I'm not sure how up to date IMDB is on this, but the January releases are pretty bleak. Maybe something to consider when buying the gift card for the free movie.
Of course you could buy it and watch a December release, the Matrix should be out then! Plus the new Spiderman and The King's Man.
Edit: Sorry! I misread and just noticed that it said you can use the free movie coupon up to June 30, not January 30. This is different than before when we had a smaller window to use the coupons. Either way, I'll leave my post up for people who are interested in using their coupons as soon you can in January. =)

Used to buy these for all my cousins during Christmas pre-covid and seems like they've really scaled back on the offerings.
I remember the booklets containing way more things such as:
100 free scene points, BOGO tickets on regular screenings, free upgrades to premium screenings.
If my memory serves me correct, at one point, the poutine and nachos used to be free as well, instead of 50% off
