Is Pennzoil activating their $10 rebate again? Right now it's only good on oil changes at certain locations, not on 5L jugs you buy yourself.

Next couple oil changes is good if the price is right, but keep in mind that oil has an approximate 5 year shelf life. Years ago, I went crazy on a Costco sale only to find out later that oil has a shelf life and I bought more than I should have.
-Read store exceptions before combining discounts with cash back sites
-HomeDepot clearance prices are not shown on stocktrack or HD.ca
-There is a difference between NEED (necessities) and WANT (desires). The word NEED is over-used on RFD and in general.

I've been waiting for supertech to come back on sale, but might have to jump on this since my stock is gone!

Woo! Been waiting for this. I'm buying 4 jugs. 2 for the rebate, and 2 more just because it's a good price (yes, I'm aware of Supertech and Kirkland). Last time CT had signs up on the racks saying only 2 per customer, but I'm pretty sure I can just do a 2nd transaction.

Great timing. I run redline in my truck and summer car then switch out to penz ultra for winter in the truck as its alot cheaper so always hope for a good sale this time of year.

PS: If anyone in the wpg area needs mobile 1 0W40 euro synthetic oil i have 4 jugs $20 each.

Only 2 jugs are eligible for the MIR. That's Pennzoil's rule. Canadian Tire was the one with the signs on the racks. Like I said, even without the rebate it's still a great price for name-brand synthetic oil.

For a newbie that goes to dealership.

How many bottles do I need for civic 2017?
Can I take these bottles to a mechanic for cheaper change?

1 is good enough and you'll also need a filter. Don't know about the charge tho. I'm looking for a shop can help me to do oil change myself too. Any recommendation in the Richmond hill/Markham area?

Thanks,

I buy the oil and filter and pay 30$ to a local family shop for labor.
Maybe 25$ if pay cash.

In EDM, I buy oil and filter and do it myself and save $30 cash or credit...lol

Hello there,
I just got a 2007 Honda civic few months ago. New driver. What oil type is recommended and any place you'd suggest to go for oil change?
Thanks,
