Gamepass PC has upped their promo from $1 for a single month to $1 for 3 months. Given that Age of Empires 4 and Back 4 Blood both launched on it recently, and Forza and Halo Infinite are coming soon, this is pretty good timing to get 3 months worth for a buck.
For current users: YMMV on cancelling and being eligible for this. The post on the Gamedeals subreddit has very mixed availability after cancelling. Personally I was able to cancel my $1 single month promo and get this, but some others haven't. It seems like you need to choose the refund option when cancelling, but still no guarantees.

PC Game pass seems to be old games. I guess ultimate is the great one? PC Game pass has no AOE 4, the new Yakuza, and other newer games.
I've signed up just for the regular Game Pass and have both AOE4 and B4B installed and playable from it. Perhaps the games lists haven't been updated? My understanding is that ultimate just adds more features, no extra games (aside from those available through EA Play or Cloud gaming)
Noob question. Are the games from Ultimate different from the standard one? I don't see Age of Empires 4 listed for this pass... I don't know if this is an update issue with the list or it is just not included....
If you are a PC only user, Ultimate is not worth it. Gamepass for PC has all Microsoft first party games at release. It has AOE4, it will have Forza next week, Halo Infinite, ect. It has less "new" games than Xbox but if you don't have an Xbox it doesnt matter, unless you are playing on the cloud.
back 4 blood I had installed already when I had ultimate and its still playable.. AOE is showing for me if I wanna install it. and says forza/halo/evil genius will be available when they are out on regular pc game pass
Alright RFD lads. Go for this, and then use the game pass ultimate $1 deal. It will convert your 3months game pass to game pass ultimate, it also provides you with that extra month (so 4 months of ultimate). There is a thread i used earlier this year to get 3 years of game pass ultimate for like $120.

Dang I signed up for a month to try back 4 blood a few weeks ago.
Doom eternal, Outriders, b4b, wide variety of older and newer games available. Halo infinite access is also included with the pass when it's released in December
Signed up for the $1 game pass last week for AOE4.
Can confirm unsubbed/resubbed today and was able to get the bonus 2 months. For those wondering, can confirm that you have to select the "refund" option on the following screen subsequent to clicking "Cancel Subscription". YMMV though as some users have reported this not working for them.
