That looks like a regular lifespan, but 3 years shorter
I eat a lot of junk, but I’d never touch that.

    • Unfortunately it looks like their crust to topping ratio hasn't changed over the years, even throughout many locations.
I'll only ever buy pizza hut with deals and coupons from now on. Decided two years ago to order it **full price and never again... My pictures below by the way 😂

    • Pizza Hut isn't like it used to be. The toppings are few and tasteless and the sauce is a medicine taste. I prefer choosing any local pizzeria where they take pride in what they make!

    • Ordered 1 large and 3 mediums last week (not part of this deal, just similar order). Based on that experience, I do not recommend PH.

      Medium pizzas :
      p.png

Notice large gaps between pizza crust and box. These are NOT 12" pizzas. Also, notice the large crust due to lack of toppings. Finally, notice the uneven distribution of toppings. Looks like the cook just threw the toppings on, instead of placing and distributing the toppings evenly.

      Large pizza :
      p1.png
Again, large gap between crust and pizza. I wonder if they use dough for medium size pizza and sold it as a large pizza? I know cookie places that make 5 cookies using dough meant for 4 cookies. Just press it down hard and make really thin cookies to shave cost.

Very disappointed. Pizza Hut used to be good, with AYCE salad bar and tasty pizza. Now it feels like a knock off takeout joint profiting off of the the brand name.
They must have updated their box size, no gaps on ours but there was an obvious size difference which we noticed with bare eyes. The medium pizza from Pizza Hut is just a tad bigger than what the personal sized pizza used to be. Do they still sell personal sized pizza? If they do it would be the size of a cookie. This is just bs. Companies keep charging more, giving less and quality is declining. It is getting more difficult to justify spending money and supporting companies.

    • Waste of money.
Go to Pizza Pizza instead, and choose the XL 4 Topping pizza at 16.99 (19.20 with taxes)
Add pepperoni, italian spicy sausage, bacon and pineapple.
Plus add the chill flakes, olive oil and italian spice blend for free.
Best bang for the buck pizza!
      People still buy pizza pizza?

I haven't had it since my university days when we'd come home drunk from the bar, and needed some cardboard to soak up the alcohol.

    • Wtf! I was actually looking forward to this as it's been a like 6 months since i have had PizzaHut.

      Their large is now $29 and the $5 $5 $5 is basically $7 $7 $7.

Looking at an older receipt, i previously paid $24 for the large and $5 $5 $5. $11 difference for presumably even less toppings and quality; nah PizzaHut, I'm out.
Not sure if this applies everywhere but to get it to drop down to $5, you need to create your own pizza. If you select a pre-made pizza option (i.e., veggie lover), it'll charge you $7. But if you make it yourself, it'll be $5. Pretty evil of them - think they're hoping people will just accept the $7.

Sorry I don’t, like I said I’m enjoying the survey deal so I don’t really care about this deal. I would assume the Twitter would say when it expires

    • It’s back! $5 $5 $5
Buy a regular price large pizza, get up to 3 medium 2-topping pizzas for $5 each. Upgrade to recipe pizzas for an additional $2 each.

Really bad deal considering we just had the bogo deal for 23.49 you get 2 largers vs this 23.49+ the 2nd would be 5-7, depending on the pizza on top of this it’s even worse considering it’s medium but a deal is a deal.

Guess it’s back to me using the receipt bogo deal which is only bad because your losing out on a Pizza Hut point

Yes they did. So now any of their specials are $7 for a medium. Quite a lot of BS.

    • Pizza Hut has gotten so chintzy with their toppings over the years that it's rare i even order from them anymore. I rather support local mom and pop pizzerias and a lot of the time, they're product is vastly superior for not a whole lot more money.
I think the same about dominos, though. Last time I ordered dominos I was lucky to get a single piece of pepperoni per slice, with the cost of a pizza having gone up ~$5 from 2 years ago.

Unfortunately the mom and pop shops near me don't come anywhere near the price of the chain pizzas. Anything worth eating is 50% more or so.

The whole pizza industry seems to be in a rush to lower the quality and raise the prices until they find the point where people stop ordering.

    • Every year, this deal gets a little bit worse.

When it started out, you could get a large cheese pizza and then three medium recipe pizzas and it would come out to be about $33?

Then they added a new restriction where the large pizza had to have a higher price than the regular price of the subsequent medium pizzas, so had to make it like a large pepperoni pizza and three medium recipe pizzas for like $37.

Now the medium pizzas are only two-topping, or else you pay $2 more for recipe pizzas, so the same order as last year would now be $43.

      2 large for $23.49 x 2

      This deal

      1 large for $23.49
      3 medium for $5 each, $15 total

      Total
      $46.98 for 4 large
      $38.49 for 1 large and 3 mediums

Essentially you pay about $8.50 to upgrade the 3 mediums to 3 larges.
