Any cons to the above? Even if I don't like the game, I can't return it. If I trade it in at Gamestop, I'll get a low TIV for it.
Error?
Can confirm this is the PS5 slim. Detachable disk drive, 2 USB type C ports on the front and yes it is slim. Woohooo. Time to play PlayStation. I picked up the God of War Bundle in March / April of last year but HAD no time to play due to my job that I travelled out of the country/province frequently. Gotta love Incident Response. Now I am good.

Amazon sort of online, but they probably find lowering their prices doesn't necessarily bring amazon customers into the door so might as well keep them high
Retailing has become quite challenging with the supply chain still in chaos and everyone along the supply chain is passing on the cost onto the next level until it is us -- the end user and customer that ends up paying that severely marked-up price so everyone along the supply chain will get their share. Buying anything feels like a highway robbery these days -- even under the guise of BF and BW where we're supposed to be getting the best deal of the year. That was true many moons ago when retailers have excess stock they need to get rid of to make room for new stock and free up some cash flow. Not really anymore with the supply chain barely being able to keep up on its best days with most days of empty shelves. There really isn't that much pressure to offload stock -- because there is no stock to offload.
More and more retailers have stopped price matching, price adjustment and ad matching (even on their own flyer if the item sells for cheaper the next week), and no more rainchecks. They're too big to fail and too big to care. They also don't have the extra capacity they used to in fulfilling stock. Which is understandable, but from a customer's perspective is a real disappointing (to use a more polite term in place of another d-word) move. It's all first come, first served and feels more like a feeding frenzy and battlefield when out shopping for anything these days. Retail is a depressing place.
Not that I want everything to be dirt cheap and rock bottom, but I feel it's harder and harder to get a fair deal and good value. Yes, they are subjective metrics, but let's not mark up anything to oblivion like a bottle of ketchup used to go on sale for $2.99, now it's $4.97 on special.
Pretty much offset the prepaid card activation fees.
Also, can the walmart Egift card be used on anything?

Third party sellers on Walmart and amazon marketplace are more common - so even Walmart is trying to get further away from brick and mortar.
I don’t think they’ll close them, but pivot into groceries and so on and we will see less hard goods there over time.
This is already happening and a big factor in why we’re seeing less massive deals on electronics etc rather than the post suggesting consumers are ´smarter ´
