      Its already worth more given the skins sell for more than MK on resale market (at least before Cyber Monday). The price of the skin likely will dive a bit the next few days but over time it will go back up.

      Fornite is a free game
      You can easily get the cost of mario kart from the fortnite stuff. Especially when it was on sale for 49.99 and is bundled with mario party for 129. I sold some stupid pick axe skin for like 150$ that was free with any purchase. So you lock it behind a 400$ purchase they won't drop much and if it does it will be temporary.

      This skin thing totally doesn't make sense, I suspect this is a sale promotion trick from Fortnite or some other retailers make you feel that you can make a profit of it. I can foresee the sharp drop in price of this skin.

      For people that are REALLY into Fortnite, the exclusive skin that comes with the bundle is the attraction here. I don't care about that shit, but I know that a LOT of people do (particularly, but not exclusively, younger gamers).

    • Guess it depends if you want to deal with trying to sell the skin online - seems like if it is indeed going for $200+ as claimed above, this bundle is a better deal (though I dunno why people are paying $200+ for the skin, when they could just buy the bundle, claim the skin code, and then sell the Switch? Seems like that would be a better value, unless used Switches are selling for $200+ below retail)

      I imagine that was also at least partially related to the fact that there were no switches of ANY kind available for months at the start of the pandemic, and people were dying for entertainment options for their kids.

      I kind of do. I want some of these cool looking docks but I don't want to buy another system for it. I can live without the joy cons since I have enough. I don't want Fortnite though. I assume Fortnite through some money at Nintendo for this. There's no way Nintendo would do this just out of the blue.
